Meet Dawn

Dawn is a Master Stylist and Educator at RedBloom Salon Bridgeland. She has been a RedBloomer for 12 years and we are so lucky to have her.

Recently we did a special interview with Dawn about her experience working at RedBloom for our recruitment video. Here are a few highlights from the interview that we wanted to share…

What do you love most about RedBloom?

I love how much RedBloom places importance on the team being kind, helpful, and empathetic humans. It makes it a really special salon to work in and a very comfortable space for our guests. I've heard time and time again from clients what a great vibe there is in the space.

What do you love most about your job?

I love how many diverse, interesting people I get to meet. Throughout my career, many of my clients have become friends. I love getting to catch up and truly connect with people who I likely would not have met if it was not for being a stylist!

What is your favourite thing about working at RedBloom?

My favourite part of working at RedBloom is getting to mentor our graduate stylists and teach in our Student Stylist Program. I learned so much from other stylists when I started out so it's cool to get to be that for someone else. It's pretty damn rewarding when you get to see a stylist thriving in their careers and know that you helped support them on their journey!

What has working at RedBloom done for you?

RedBloom has given me so many things throughout many different stages in my life, but the common theme has been support!! When I was starting out as a new stylist I was given mentorship and education opportunities. When finishing my undergrad I  was given flexibility and support. And as a new mom returning to work, I was given patience and grace as I figured out what was next for me!
