Hair Treatments for Breast Cancer Research

October is here, which is Breast Cancer Awareness month!

To honour this month, RedBloom will be donating 2$ from every hair treatment, all October long Breast Cancer Research. Donations will go to Breast Cancer Canada — the only national organization 100% dedicated to raising money for research into the causes, preventions and cures for this nefarious illness.

Each DAY last year, an estimated 75 Canadians heard the words “you have breast cancer”. And while more Canadians are surviving a breast cancer diagnosis than ever before, it is still the most common cancer and the second leading cause of cancer death among Canadian Women. As of February, 2021, The World Health Organization declared breast cancer the most diagnosed cancer worldwide. In Canada, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed in their lifetime. This year alone, that’s ~28,000 Canadians who will be diagnosed with the disease.
