This initial skills assessment, which is overseen by a leader of our educational team, will provide a measurable baseline of your skill level before entering our educational programs. Constructive feedback will provide you with opportunities of growth and improvement as well as areas of celebration.

The first couple weeks of your time at RedBloom will be focused on training and culture. We want to support but challenge you in learning the flow of the salon, the space, our operating systems and getting to know the team! Once you are up to speed on how a Salon runs, you will be provided with a salon floor day to take requested clients. This will allow our Salon Mentors the opportunity to observe and provide you with feedback.

Our exclusive 12-week program is designed to rapidly build upon your foundational skills as well as introducing more advanced concepts - challenging you to provide the highest possible level of service while you’re behind the chair.

While enrolled in our Student Stylist Program, you are paid to attend 8 hours of education each week (within your regular work hours!) instructed and led by our highly experienced in-house team of educators. Our expertly curated program covers a wide range of lessons that go beyond technical skills training and cover the behaviors of what makes a successful stylist; from building client relationships, consultations, and Social Media promotion to ensure you gain a comprehensive understanding of this industry.

With 1-2 dedicated salon floor days each week, you'll have the opportunity to put your skills to the test. Gain hands-on experience and build your confidence as you interact with clients and practice what you have learned while simultaneously growing your clientele!

Our Associate Program was developed to offer the Apprentices of RedBloom the opportunity to gain even more knowledge and experience by learning one-on-one from some of the BEST in our company. Our Associates will shadow/assist a designated Mentor one day per week for 6 months. This program will run in conjunction with the SSP and will continue for 3 months after the successful completion of SSP. We see the value in having stylists new to the industry learn from those who have had long, successful careers behind the chair.

As a graduate level stylist with 4-5 days on the floor, you will continue to develop your skills and grow your business through advanced education of your choosing, receive real-time feedback from your mentors as well as through monthly coaching sessions with our Leadership team. You will set goals and strive to reach all your benchmarks as you work towards a promotion and price increases.
